Adam Thropay

Dr. Adam Thropay has had a keen interest in detailed Bible Study since the age of 16. For many years, while operating a successful chiropractic practice, he carved out the time to conduct systematic, expository Bible studies and teaching meetings, and to painstakingly prepare the notes for those meetings. His books and magazine contributions have been developed from that work.

Thropay's desire to be totally accurate in his interpretation of Scripture naturally led to the intensive study of the Bible's original languagesHebrew and Greekas well as his becoming thoroughly informed about Jewish history and culture via their own sources. Such labor has been more than worthwhile in broadening his understanding of the Scriptures.

Well-known and appreciated for his work on the (Christian) Scripture Forum, Thropay also engaged in meaningful dialogue on a Jewish forum for several years. His skillful use of the Old Testament to validate the New Testament and to bring home the gospel frustrated the forum leaders, and they eventually eliminated the site. Only eternity will reveal what God may have done in the members' hearts.

Scripture Teaching Library has published a series of Thropay's works in digitally-printed book form. His particular style of teachingline by line and/or concept by concepttruly unwraps the truth of God in an easily digested form. He firmly believes that effective exposition must lead to and include appropriate spiritual application that is relevant to the hearts and lives of the hearers.

Thropay lived in the Los Angeles, California area all of his life. He and his wife Heather have three married children and several grandchildren. Compelled into retirement by multiple strokes, he nevertheless continued, as able, to work on manuscripts with a view to further publications.
